Living at Aventura has been one of the best parts of living in St. Louis so far. For starters, the property manager and leasing agent are awesome! You can stop by anytime in the leasing office for free coffee and small talk. They host events pretty regularly where all residents can get together, and they always get excited for holidays, so you can feel extra spooky or merry. I had one issue earlier this year with my garbage disposal (100% my fault, I was basically throwing whole fruit in there) and they fixed it for me within 24 hours for free. The bedrooms are quite large and the living room and kitchen feel very open. One of the best amenities is the parking, which is really helpful when living in a big city. The only negative with Aventura is living on the other side of the medical school from everyone, so getting to social events can be a small hassle, or it can be a great opportunity to reach your daily step limit. Several other medical students live at Aventura, and I have only heard positive things from them as well!
